On Sunday, September 15th at 19:00 Museu da Crise opens its doors to the public with the presentation of an interactive installation and the international premiere of the film Museu da Crise Part I at LX Factory in Lisbon.

Museu da Crise is a socially engaged art project that collaborates with various social groups to construct new narratives that redefine the social, cultural and economical ideologies on which Europe has been built. The main objective of MC is to ‘museumify’ crisis and to turn it into a concept of the past.
During the triennial Muse da Crise intends to implement domestic strategies and work within parallel economies to embed them into the seen and unseen infrastructures existing in the city of Lisbon. The intention is to expand these strategies from the private, into the community sphere.

É com muito prazer que o convidamos no próximo dia 15 de Setembro, às 19:00 horas, para a abertura do Museu da Crise na LX Factory em Lisboa, com a apresentação de uma instalação interactiva e a estreia internacional do filme Museu da Crise Parte I.
O MC é um projecto de arte social em colaboração com a população que pretende criar novas narrativas que redefinam as ideologias sociais, culturais e económicas em que a Europa foi fundada. O principal objectivo do MC é a ‘museificação’ da crise, por forma a torna-la um conceito do passado.
Durante a trienal, o Museu da Crise pretende incorporar estratégias domésticas, que se relacionem com economias alternativas, na visível e invisível infra-estrutura da cidade de Lisboa, com a intenção de as transportar de uma esfera privada para a comunitária.
